Friends, Finally the hand over of Joydeep - Soumen memorial Fund is done today when we had delivered all the cheques and a letter of intent to Bishnu da. he was visibly very delighted to see that we continued our efforts for the third year in a row. "Thakur tomader bhalo rakhun.." he conveyed the best of wishes to everybody. we met Sunil pattanayak, ashok da, mridul da and tusharda apart from many teachers at the school premise. Tushar da was asking if we could contribute to the technical school a bit. a sum of Rs 8000 is given to the Technical school alongside BB, school and lok siksha parishad. BB will spend the amt for annual fees of three blind students - 3 x 12,000 = 36000. Lok Siksha will sponsor a poor child as it did previous year - 20,000. School will get 32,000 this year for 2 scholarships for the financially weak students Finally a big Thnax to anirudhha who rode the ship this time. and to all of us who were involved in the process Lastly, may all of us remember those two beloved frens - Joydeep and soumen.
